Brief
An project to redesign a wide variety of internal forms and develop a framework to improve consistency and aid creation of forms in the future.
Outcome
A big challenge with this project was that the solution, to a certain extent, had already been defined. Internal forms were previously a mix of formats (such as Word Docs, Excel or PDFs) and the decision had been made to transition all forms to PDF. We had to test, optimise and redesign each form.
I ran extensive usability testing sessions with a focus on staff with varying levels of accessibility issues. Prototypes were created and retested.
The feedback we received from the client at the time was highly positive. On a personal level the outcome was the opportunity to carry out significant amounts of user testing with the focus heavily on accessibility and time efficiency.
